It’s only so much a girl can take from the man that was supposed to protect her heart, worship her body and conquer her soul. Ty used to be that man for Lyric, but that changed for them, so long ago. See, Ty has drug Lyric through the mud for the very last time. She's tired and fed up! She refuses to continue to live life to the beat of his drum, and she has been put through hell at his hands for the very last time. She is bent but whether Ty believes it or not; Lyric is far from broken! After becoming free from him, the lines between faith and despair began to blur. Her faith is tested; she feels lost and confused, and mostly she's afraid. Lyric knows that there is a long road ahead of her, which won’t be easy, but she has people in her life that she knows genuinely love her and will help her through this turbulence time in her life.
Delusional, Ty believes that he's dealing with the same insecure Lyric that he’s used to. Time apart will make her miss me, and she’ll come running back home where she belongs, or so Ty thought. What he failed to realize was, Lyric was a changed woman! No longer timid, no longer afraid of him. When he realizes that getting her back would be a harder task than he originally thought, he devises a plan. Ty selfishly stalks her, from one place to another in hopes that he could get her to change her mind. After seeing Lyric and Blessing together, and her appearing to have moved on, the green-eyed monster rears its ugly head. Ty’s jealous and enraged, and he won't stop until he gets her back!
Blessing loves Lyric, and all he wants from her is to want him just as much as he wants her, but he won’t force it. On the outside looking in, everything is just that but he doesn’t feel it. She tugs at his heartstrings, pulling him in so close, only to shut him down. However, Lyric isn’t ready to give him the one thing she treasures most; her heart. She’s guarded, but he’s patient and tries to show her that he’ll always be there for her. One things for sure, though, if she doesn’t want to be his after all he has done to prove himself; he will be forced to move on.

Now, I wasn't expecting some of the turns of events!!! The bish Sarah though...smh...why she keeps getting away with bs! And now ol boy in the mix, looks like he's in charge of everything that's going on! (Not going to name him, because I don't want to spoil it for anyone! One thing that confused me was Sarah being overly in love with Ty, then it shifts!!! And it was making me mad that Lyric was being a fool towards Blessing!! Made me want to jump IN the book and shake her!!! And in the ending, why was Ty able to do what he did if she got all these fighting skills and carrying something....that kind of threw me off! Lol, but she does the most too!!! Well, I'm going to sit and wait on part 3....and to the author...you mixed up a couple characters in the book, just like the last.....but all in all a very good book!!Product details

This book is rated 5 stars because of the storyline. The story picks right back up from part one, without retelling the whole story all over again. I would recommend to all who enjoy a good story.
Although I could have killed Lyric ass from running from Blessing most of the book I was finally happy when she gave in to her heart...I can't believe Ty's ass and can't wait for him and Sara get what's coming to then can't n wait till part 3 come out
The Author has amazing writing skills.The story has a good flow it draws you in and I love a read that is easy and gives you a sense of what the characters have going on .I would recommend this book and I look forward to reading more my the Author
Lawd this book has me all in my feelings. Ty and Sarah are crazy as hell. They just want leave poor lyric alone. This book was soooooo amazing that I was so caught up in it. If you are looking for an action packed drama filled book this is it right herr
These people are bat crazy! That Sara and Ty deserve each other. They both need to be locked up and the key thrown away. Didn't know lyric had it in her. Just gangsta. What more can happen? Very suspenseful. I bet detective Hernandez has something to do with, plus another person. Love it!
I was glad when Lyric finally got away and left Ty. I was more happy when she let Blessing in. I just can't believe all the things that Sarah is doing and she still don't have the man. She started working with someone else but not sure who it is. I feel I know who it is but not sure. This series is getting even better as it goes. Ready to get to the next part to see what is going to happen.
Lyric heard my plea and finally got away from Ty. Of course it got worse before it got better. She finally got a backbone and fought back. You go girl. Sarah is really a nut case and she needs to disappear and take Ty with her. They both need to just leave Lyric alone and let her be great and live her life. Maybe I will get my wish in part 3 and hopefully my girl Karma will visit them both. We shall see. #UIP
